The stack was initially tested for conducting 1 million simultaneous calls, followed with a test for 5 million simultaneous calls and now it has been tested for 10 million simultaneous calls.
“There are at least nine or 10 countries which want to try it out and it will be rolled out soon. I am very happy to share with all of you Prime Minister’s vision of making India as a telecom technology exporter,” Vaishnaw said.
The minister said with the development of India stack, we have a solution where you can create population scale solutions, which are tested on platforms. Just like payment platform, like healthcare, like home, like identity, each of these individual items are powerful in themselves, but combined together, they can help solve any major problem in the world, he said.
“So, this is the power of the India stack and today the whole world wants to try out some of the pieces of it and our prime minister has given us the authorization that give it as our contribution to the world,” he said.
Talking about 5G, the Minister said the latest technology was launched by the Prime Minister on October and within first 100 days, over 200 cities have been covered, which is the fastest deployment happening anywhere in the world.
