1. Keynote Interview on ‘Creating a future-proof education system that is equitable and immersive’
The ET Future of Education Summit 2023 will kick-off with a keynote interview of Anita Karwal, Immediate Former Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Karwal will be speaking on the theme of ‘Vision India@2047: Creating a future-proof education system that is equitable and immersive’ where she will elaborate on the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values that India is prioritising on in order to build an education system that is inclusive and equitable, as well as empower individuals to thrive in a digital and green world, besides also sharing insights on the impact of NEP.
2. Panel Discussion on ‘National Education Policy: Laying the foundations to build the architects of India at 2047’
The second session on Day 1 of the ET Future of Education Summit 2023 will have Jasmine Gohil, Professor and Head of Academic Affairs, Anant National University; Sumeet Mehta, Co-founder and CEO, LEAD; and Sarvesh Agrawal, Founder and CEO, Internshala engage in a panel discussion on the topic ‘National Education Policy: Laying the foundations to build the architects of India at 2047’. From elaborating on the National Digital University to spotlighting the impact of the NEP implementation across states and how it can help develop skills for the 21st century such as creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving the panellists will talk on a range of issues surrounding the Indian education system. 1. Keynote Interview on the theme of ‘Why India’s National Digital University could be its next UPI moment’
The Day 2 of the ET Future of Education summit, will commence with the keynote interview of Mayank Kumar, Co-founder, upGrad, and Co-Chairman of Indian Edtech Consortium, IAMAI on the theme of ‘Why India’s National Digital University could be its next UPI moment.’ During his conversation with Miloni Bhatt, Editor – Digital Broadcast, EconomicTimes.com, Kumar will spotlight the likely impact NDU could have on India’s education system including making education accessible and affordable, especially for students from communities that have been historically underrepresented in education. He will also talk about the similarities between the NDU and UPI, with NDU being increasingly termed as India’s next UPI moment.
2. Fireside chat on the theme of ‘Harnessing the power of tech to reimagine learning experiences & revolutionise education’
Nidhi Bhasin, CEO, Nasscom Foundation in a fireside chat with the EconomicTimes.com will talk about how we can harness the power of tech to revolutionise education and reimagine learning experiences. From elaborating on the impact of disruptive technologies like VR and AR on redefining student learning experiences to measures required for preparing students with skills and knowledge required for the fast evolving job roles of the future Bhasin will also be talking about the rising popularity of self learning and upskilling and the impact of tech towards personalization of learning experiences.
