Large cap funds saw the highest outflow of Rs 2,049.61 crore followed by focused funds. The category saw an outflow of Rs 1,018.31 crore in June.
The debt category witnessed a total outflow of Rs 14,135.52 crore, compared to an inflow of Rs 45,959.03 crore in May. Liquid funds saw the highest inflow of Rs 28,545.45 crore, compared to an inflow of Rs 45,234.22 crore in May. Ultra Short Duration Funds saw an outflow of Rs 1,886.57.96 crore. Money Market Funds received the highest inflow of Rs 6.827.03 crore followed by overnight funds. The category received an inflow of Rs 4,627.93 crore. Long Duration Funds received the lowest inflow of Rs 7.89 crore.
The hybrid category saw a total inflow of Rs 4,611.18 crore in June, compared to an inflow of Rs 6,092.85 crore in May. Most hybrid fund categories witnessed inflows except for dynamic asset allocation / balanced advantage, and balanced hybrid fund/aggressive hybrid fund. Arbitrage funds received the highest inflow of Rs 3,365.76 crore, followed by multi asset allocation funds. The multi asset allocation funds received an inflow of Rs 1,323.30 crore. Balanced hybrid fund/aggressive hybrid fund, and dynamic asset allocation / balanced advantage saw an outflow of Rs 389.01 crore, and Rs 214.53 crore respectively.
The ‘others’ category which includes Index Funds and ETFs received a total inflow of Rs 2,056.99 crore in June as against inflow of Rs 4,487.34 crore in May. Other ETFs received the highest inflows of Rs 3,402.35 crore. Gold ETFs received a total inflow of Rs 70.32 crore compared to an inflow of Rs 103.12 crore in May. Index funds and fund of funds investing overseas saw a total outflow of Rs 905.74 crore and Rs 509.94 crore respectively. Fund of funds (overseas) received an outflow of Rs 117.14 crore.
The total assets under management (AUM) in June 2023 increased by approximately 3% and stood at Rs 44.39 lakh crore, as against Rs 43.20 lakh crore in May.
Around 11 open-ended NFOs were floated in June which together mobilized Rs 3,228 crore.
