Emergency Exercise Planned for June 22 | Arkansas Tech University – ATU News

The Arkansas Tech University Department of Public Safety will collaborate with Arkansas State Police, MedFlight, Pope County Emergency Medical Services, Pope County Sheriff’s Office, Russellville Fire Department, Russellville Police Department and St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center to conduct a full-scale emergency exercise on Thursday, June 22.

The exercise is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.-noon and will take place in the vicinity of the Hull Physical Education Building on the ATU campus in Russellville.

Joshua McMillian, ATU chief of public safety, said the exercise will be conducted in accordance with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) guidelines for a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP).
