LEBANON, Ore. — Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) has announced that their annual Dyno Days returns on Friday, May 19, 2023 and runs through Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Advanced Transportation Technology Center in Lebanon.
Officials with LBCC say that the event offers prospect students and community members a chance to stop by the ATTC and experience what the Automotive Technology and Heavy Equipment & Diesel Technology programs have to offer.
“Dyno Days offers a great opportunity for the community to see our amazing facilities in action,” said Michael LeBlanc, Automotive Technology Department Chair. “But hopefully people will also walk away seeing where a degree from LBCC can take them.”
“Dyno” is short for dynamometer, a device used for measuring force, torque, or power.
Local car clubs and owners will be on hand as they get to use the Dyno Room to test their hot rods. All of the slots in the automotive dyno room have been filled, so no matter what time people stop by they can see it in action. The diesel dyno room still has walk-up times available.
Attendants will get to see repair demos from automotive students, see the Heavy Equipment & Diesel Technology labs in action, and find out about the Industry Student Scholarship Program, and apply for admission to attend LBCC in the Fall.
The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Advanced Transportation Technology Center in Lebanon both Friday and Saturday.
