DRIVERS are rushing to buy a £1.80 Asda cleaning essential which will save Brits hundreds of pounds at the garage.
TikToker BigHacks was quoted over £100 to fix his blocked washer jets on his car – but instead, he figured out a nifty way to fix it himself.
The car enthusiast bought a bottle of Mister Muscle – which can be purchased at Asda for just £1.80.
He explained: “I’m about to share with you a life hack could save you hundreds of pounds.
“I went to my garage the other day with my BMW and the washer jets were blocked solid.
“Couldn’t work out what was going on with it.
“But the garage said to me they want to strip out the wing, take the bottom of the car off, replace the washer motor.
“This was going to cost me hundreds of pounds.
“I then realise that I can actually do this all myself.”
“I think to myself I can probably find a life hack that’s going to actually do it.
“What I’ve done is popped off the tube to the washer wipers and I picked up a £2 bottle of Mister Muscle Bathroom Soap Scum remover.
“I then backflowed that up the pipe down into the washer bottle in reverse.
“Hey presto – I fixed the soap scum in my car.”
It comes after drivers have been blown away after discovering a £1 hack that leaves your car interior sparkling – and it’s so easy.
This low-cost solution uses basic everyday products that you’ll have lying around your house.
TikTok user @blossom took to social media to show users how a solution of glue and baking soda can clean out all the nooks and crannies in your car.
The poster forms the gummy cleaner by pouring glue into her cupholder before adding the baking soda and contact lens liquid.
The final product is similar to a slime toy and is flexible enough to reach the most difficult parts of your car’s interior, and sticky enough to pick up small debris.
The woman uses the gummy cleaner to clean the air-con vents, the steering wheel and the cupholders.
