DRIVERS have been blown away by a handy car key hack that almost all motors have.
As summer temperatures rise, the easy trick could really help if you need to cool down your car‘s interior quickly.

The footage was uploaded to TikTok on the Driving Test Success channel and has been watched more than 370,000 times.
As the video opens, the caption reads: ‘Testing the TikTok window hack,’ while the title of the video is ‘Did you know this was a thing?’
It shows somebody holding the car keys to a Ford Fiesta which is parked in front of them.
A voiceover says: “So I heard this thing on TikTok where you unlock, lock, unlock and hold down the unlock, and it puts your windows down.”
The person in the video follows this procedure and the windows on the Fiesta roll down automatically.
In fact, this is a common feature on newer cars with remote key fobs.
You don’t need to lock or unlock the car first, you can simply hold the unlock button on the key and the windows will roll down.

It often does the same for the sunroof if one is fitted and could come in handy on hot days to cool down an interior more quickly.
