According to ‘Dexerto’, Disney has dropped the first look and teaser of the much anticipated ‘Moana 2‘. At the outset of the teaser, we can see a familiar coastal scene, reminiscent of Moana’s home. It is of pastel color with an island in the distance and evokes nostalgia from the first film. Moana is shown on the shore, dipping her toes into the sand. She blows into a conch shell, while a boat awaits her, signaling adventure on the shimmering waters.

Quoting the Chief Executive Officer of the Walt Disney Company Bob Iger, ‘Collider’ has reported that ‘Moana 2’ will premiere on November 27, 2024, following the Disney tradition of releasing a film near Thanksgiving Day.
Cast
According to ‘Dexerto’, it is not clear if the sequel will feature the original cast. However, the characters may be a bit older in the sequel, because the first Moana movie was released in 2017. Auli’i Cravalho appeared as the titular character in the original film while Dwayne Johnson and her demi-god companion Maui also made an appearance.
‘Dexerto’ also reported that the Walt Disney Company would continue to focus on animated films as it is the medium that has been rooted in the foundation of Disney since the days of Mickey Mouse.
