Did Barron Trump speak like his mom Melania with a Slovenian accent when he was a young boy? Unearthed video of him speaking spreads like wildfire

After Donald Trump‘s huge victory, a video of Barron Trump speaking with his mother’s accent goes viral. Following his father’s overwhelming electoral victory earlier this month, videos of Barron Trump, his future first son, speaking with a Slovenian accent as a young child are going viral on social media, as quoted in a report by Fox News.

In a 2010 Larry King segment, a 4-year-old Barron Trump said that he likes his suitcase, with what sounded like a Slovene accent.

Barron Trump is seen in the video asking his mother if he is going to school while he is in his father’s office with both of his parents. He is seen grabbing a brown suitcase.

The footage shows Barron Trump in his father’s office with both of his parents, asking his mom about going to school. Melania Trump responds with the same accent as Barron Trump, and they both ask him to go to school.

Clips of the video have spread like wildfire across social media, most notably on TikTok, where users have filmed their own videos imitating Barron Trump, accompanied by the tag “sootcase,” as a play on how Barron Trump pronounced “suitcase.”

Many social media users were surprised to find that the future first son had a small accent as a young boy, calling it lovely and cute, and praising Melania Trump for her tight bond with her young son.

Melania Trump, who had a successful modelling career before becoming first lady, was born in Novo Mesto, Yugoslavia – now Slovenia – and explained in an interview with Larry King in 2010 that her son has an accent because he spent the majority of time with his mom.

Barron Trump declared his love of playing the drums while pronouncing his words similar to his mom’s Slovene accent.
