For those of you looking for a takeaway lunch it is not good news right now because Deliveroo is not working.

According to Down Detector app, around 3,200 outages have been reported over the last 24 hours and hundreds of people have been locked out of the app.

Deliveroo said: ‘We’re currently experiencing an issue with our app and website.

‘We’re working hard to get back up and running ASAP. Thank you for your patience.’

Problems started at around 10.45am this morning and have now peaked just in time for lunch.

The majority of outages are in the capital London but issues have been reported nationwide as well.

It hasn’t taken hangry people who do not want to leave their homes long to vent their frustration across social media.

Kri tweeted: ‘Deliveroo suddenly down when I already ordered my tunacado sandwich…bro stop playing.’

Ciara wrote: ‘Not the deliveroo app going down but still having the cheek to send me a notification prompting me to come back to the app for it to not work.

‘Eyeing something? WELL I WOULD BE IF I COULD.’

Meanwhile Tereza Litsa asked: ‘Deliveroo is your service down? I keep getting “something went wrong” in the app and cannot track my order.’

It is not yet known when the app and website will be back up and running but let’s hope it is soon.
