Release Date
The Castlevania Chapter for Dead by Daylight will be available on August 27, 2024. While the chapter can be played in an early test build on Steam, the official release will happen in August.
New Killer
Dead by Daylight is introducing a new killer, Dracula, who brings unique gameplay features. This is the first time the game will have a shapeshifting killer. Dracula can transform into a Wolf, allowing him to track the scent of other players. In addition, Dracula can transform into other creatures and use fire while in his vampire form to burn his prey. He also has a bat companion to help locate Survivors.

When Dracula is the killer on an original Dead by Daylight map, his castle will appear on the horizon. However, this feature will not be present on licensed maps like Alien’s Nostromo wreckage or Dungeons & Dragons’ Forgotten Ruins.
New Survivor
The Castlevania Chapter introduces Trevor Belmont as a new survivor. Trevor Belmont, known for his role as a vampire hunter, first appeared in the 1989 game Castlevania 3: Dracula’s Curse. He has also been featured in other Castlevania titles like Curse of Darkness and Judgment. Belmont is described as having the ability to seek out allies and work effectively as part of a team.
