Someone brought a drum kit during IND vs AUS World Cup match at Chepauk and internet can definitely feel for the people around.
India kicked off their World Cup campaign in style with a resounding victory against Australia at the Chepauk on Sunday. After the bowlers effectively restricted Australia to a mere 199 runs in the first innings, Virat Kohli (85) and KL Rahul (97*) joined forces to guide the hosts to victory in just 41.2 overs. While both the crowd and the team were initially dismayed when India lost three wickets for only two runs on the board, it was Kohli and Rahul who orchestrated a remarkable partnership of 165 runs, rescuing India from the brink of disaster. Surprisingly, the crowd had prepared in advance for this thrilling match, with a group of fans even bringing drums into the Chepauk stadium to enhance the celebration atmosphere.
A snapshot of a man playing a drum kit amidst the crowd surfaced on social media and quickly went viral for all funny reasons. People could vividly imagine the noise it must have generated for those seated nearby and how they had to endure it.

As one user on ‘X’ wittily remarked, “You spend all your money on World Cup tickets and you’re sat next to a bloke that’s brought a f***ing drum kit into the ground.”
Take a Look:
Soon, reactions poured in, with one individual stating, “I would throw them on the ground and get him thrown out of the stadium for that.” Another person simply said, “Cracked me up so hard,” exclaimed another.
However, there were also those who saw it as part of the grand celebration. One commenter noted, “They are mostly with a group of people it’s not a single person who brings these…Also a lot of people like it, in carribbean you have some kind of mouth instrument which is again irritating to us but it’s their culture and they like it, in UK you have hypocrisy, we don’t complain about that, the same way it’s a celebration in India and people like celebrating.”

Another person chimed in, “Who goes to the stadium when you need peace. Guy must be enjoying it!” said another.
While we may not have the answer to how those drum kits made it into the stadium, much like the questions raised in the comment section, one thing’s for sure – they certainly added an unexpected ‘beat’ to the event. What do you think?
