Carahsoft has agreed to distribute WinMagic‘s data security technology offerings to the public sector market through a reseller network and two contract vehicles.
Under a partnership deal, Carahsoft will be the master government aggregator of the MagicEndpoint passwordless authentication tool and the SecureDoc file encryption software, the companies said Tuesday in a joint statement.
Steve Jacyna, director of emerging cybersecurity solutions at Carahsoft, noted the partnership aims to help government customers manage data protection and achieve zero trust security.
MagicEndpoint is designed to identify and verify users without requiring user action and passwords, while SecureDoc works to protect information within a device or network.
Both WinMagic offerings are available to agencies through acquisition vehicles managed by the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance and OMNIA Partners.
