A CAR expert has revealed the 10 best looking motors that cost less than a new SUV.
Jonathan “Jonny” Brighton has listed the 10 best motors that all cost a bit less than the latest SUV by Audi, which has been priced at just under £100,000.
Jonathan said that £100,000 was a lot of money to spend on an SUV. So here is his list of stunning motors that all cost less than £100,000.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT
Jonny pointed out that the Alfa Giulia was a classic car and had to be treated as such. The motor, which will set you back around £100,000, has legendary status and harks back to the golden age of motoring.
It might be the slowest car on the list, taking ten seconds to reach 60mph. But the Giulia has film star looks to compensate for its lack of speed and acceleration.
Ford Escort RS Cosworth
This is another motor with coveted status thanks to his achievements on the rally circuit in the mid 90s. Famed for its whale -tail, the Cosworth can reach 60pm in around six seconds.
The Cosworth start at around £60,000 and go up toward the £100k mark for later editions.
Lancia Delta HF Integrale
Another motor with a wonderful heritage and place in motoring history, the Lancia also provides some bang for your buck.
The original hot hatches are famously wide, with 1980s style arches and an interior that harks back to another era.
Jonny concedes that the Lancia will probably cost around the same as the latest Audi SUV.
Porsche 718 Spyder
Another very special car, the Spyder can reach 60mph in around 4.3 seconds.
The stunning motor can be snapped up from around £77k and prices go north toward the £100k marker.
TVR Sagaris
Jonny said that Blackpool made roadster was his favourite motor on the list. The Lancashire beast can do sixty in around 3.6 seconds, which Jonny described as “pretty mad.”
The motor expert described the TVR as a “proper car” that looked like it had survived an encounter with an “axe wielding maniac.” The motor can be snapped up for less than the latest Audi Q8.
Aston Martin Vanquish
Another car with stunning looks, the Vanquish can do sixty in a around 3.7 seconds. Johnny describes its performance as stunning considering it is a grand tour motor.
A bottom end version can be snapped up for around £59,000, and prices go north toward the £100k mark.
Mercedes AMG GTC
The super roadster wit stunning looks can do zero to sixty in 3.6 seconds.
The AMG is another famously wide motor and some have suggested its not suited to the UK’s narrow roads.
Punters can jump into one for less than £70,000.
Ferrari 599
Another monster, Jonny said this is the best Ferrari available for less than £100,000. The Enzo engine can take you to 60 in around 3.6 seconds.
Prices start at around £71,000 and go north toward the £99,000 marker.
Lotus Exige
The track day motor that can do zero to sixty in around 3.2 seconds. Jonny describes it as an aggressive motor that makes you feel like a hero.
They start at around £90,000 and go toward the £100,000 marker.
The McClaren 570S.
A supercar that can manage around 204mph, the McClaren is another motor that will make you feel like a hero.
Influenced by the legendary McClaren P1, Johnny says the motor has looks to “die for.”
