“Jiny’s extensive multi-product and multi-geography experience and demonstrated leadership skills make him the ideal candidate for this crucial role as we continue to rebuild for sustainability. Byju’s did not immediately respond to ET’s request for comment on the development.
The departure of Goel, also former CTO of hotel aggregator startup Oyo, comes as Byju’s is undergoing a restructuring of its businesses to find financial stability in the face of collapsing term loan B and high cash burn, followed by incessant job cuts.
