BROCKTON — A male victim was shot at the Ocean State Job Lot in Brockton on Sunday after a dispute with an employee, according to Brockton police spokesperson Darren Duarte.

The shooting occurred around noon inside the store, located at 105 Campanelli Industrial Drive (the site of the former Toys R Us), after the victim who was shot allegedly pulled a knife on an employee during an argument, Duarte said.

Paramedics transported the shooting victim to the hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening injury, police said.

According to reporting by The Enterprise’s media partner WCVB, the shooting victim is in police custody where he is being hospitalized.
