TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Greater Jakarta will have sunny and partly cloudy skies today, July 17, which coincides with the first day of school, according to the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG). The agency just issued an early warning of a potential increase in wind speed.
Jakarta’s weather is forecast to be partly sunny throughout the day. Only the city’s southern and eastern parts will be cloudy tonight and will return to see partly sunny skies in the early hours of Tuesday.
The air temperature in the capital city is predicted to range between 24 degrees and 34 degrees Celsius.
The weather in Tangerang City, Tigaraksa of Tangerang Regency, and Serpong of South Tangerang will likely be partly sunny and turns cloudy in the evening. In the early hours of Tuesday, the skies in the three regions will be then partly cloudy.
In Bekasi, Cibinong of Bogor Regency, and Depok City, the weather will be sunny without a single cloud this afternoon. Meanwhile, Bogor City will see partly sunny skies. At night and in the early morning, BMKG predicted clouds over all the regions.
