SHOPPERS are rushing to B&M for an iconic chocolate bar that’s only gracing the shelves for a limited time.
The bargain retailer is currently selling Nestle’s discontinued Caramac chocolate bars – for just £1.25.
B&M took to their Facebook page to share the news, and low price, much to the joy of Caramac fans.
One Facebook user wrote: “Yes. One of my old time favourites”
A second said: “I’ll have a full box love them.”
While another cheekily added: “Get them while you can!!”

At the end of 2023, Nestle confirmed that it would be discontinuing the caramel-flavoured Caramac bar after 64 years.
They blamed falling sales for their decision to stop producing the fan-favourite, which was launched in the UK in 1959 by the original manufacturer, Mackintosh.
A spokesperson for Nestle said: “We are very sorry to disappoint fans of Caramac.
“There has been a steady decline in its sales over the past few years and unfortunately we had to make the difficult decision to discontinue it.”
At the time, the decision provoked mass outrage, with many chocolate consumers taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their upset.
One user wrote: “What. Please. God. No! Nestle please tell me you’re not ditching #caramac it’s the only ‘chocolate’ I eat! Don’t let it disappear! I love the stuff!!”
Another added: “This is a national scandal, how can they get rid of Caramac?”
And a third said: “I know a lot is made about how the Brits don’t get upset about anything, but the ire being levelled at @NestleUKI for getting rid of #Caramac shows there’s fight in the old dog yet.”
The chocolate will only be on shelves for as long as stocks last.
This comes after a chocolate lover found Nestle’s discontinued Animal Bar chocolates in a B&M store.
An anonymous Facebook user posted on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private group with 2.4 million members, and shared a snap of the cheap finds.
The foodie confirmed that they nabbed a whole box of the bars, as they wrote: “Yesterday I found out that the Animal Bars are being discontinued.
“Whatever stock is left is left. Last batch expires 1/9/24.
“This was the stock left in B&M Swansea by the Matalan store.
“The other two stores had no stock left.”
Like the Caramacs, Nestle blamed the discontinuation of this chocolate on “the low performance of the product and a steady decline in its sales over the past few years.”
But now, shoppers are scrambling to nab both the Animal Bars and the Caramacs before they leave the shelves for good.
