The value of bitcoin on Monday morning rose 2 percent to $23,700, with the index rising to nearly $24,000 a day earlier – the first time since the summer, trading data showed.
On the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Binance, bitcoin is up 2.07% overnight to $23,700. The day before the value reached a maximum of $23.96 thousand, which was the highest indicator since August 17.
According to the portal CoinMarketCap, which calculates the average price for more than 20 exchanges, the cost of bitcoin growing by 2% – on average also to 23.7 thousand dollars.
Since the beginning of the year, the price of bitcoin showed a noticeable increase – 1.4 times, from 16.54 thousand dollars at the end of December.
