Air Fryers have taken the UK by storm thanks to their simplicity, speedy cooking and the fact they cost far less money to run than a conventional fan oven. Using one of these machines can save serious money over the course of the year and many are also able to cook multiple things at once which cuts energy usage even further.
It’s not surprising they have become so popular but there is one glaring issue – Air Fryers can take up a huge amount of kitchen workspace. It’s a major reason some homes haven’t made the switch but a new device from market leader Shark Ninja could change all that.
The firm has just announced the launch of its new “Double Stack” machine at an event in Palma, Mallorca, which does exactly what it says on the tin.
This device includes two cooking bays that sit on top of one another rather than side-by-side so you can bake your salmon in one and roast potatoes in another – all without taking up too much space.
Like all Air Fryers, the Double Stack heats up instantly and can produce all sorts of tasty grub such as crispy chips, crunchy calamari, roasted chicken and even vegetables.
Ninja is boasting that the Double Stack has a 30 percent smaller footprint than most standard Air Fyers and has also been designed to make sure it fits neatly under any Kitchen cupboards.
Simple controls on the side make it easier to fire up the power and get the right cooking temperature plus you can set each drawer to bake and roast at different heats.
Ninja also says DUALZONE Technology gives an added layer of customisation to cooking, by creating two independently controlled zones with rear heat sources, for even and multi-layered cooking.
There’s no word on a release or price just yet but expect more news on this soon.

Along with its new Double Stack Fryer, Shark has also announced a swathe of other new gadgets including a portable FlexBreeze Fan with 20-hour battery life, a CREAMi DELUXE Ice Cream & Frozen Drink Maker plus a new Steam & Scrub mop with Steam Blaster Technology that cleans floor without using chemicals.
