Auto Workers Ask to Revive Racketeering Suit Against FCA, Union – Bloomberg Law


The Sixth Circuit should revive a lawsuit filed by dozens of engineers against United Auto Workers and automaker FCA US LLC over a series of corrupt acts that led the Justice Department to initiate a sprawling probe, an attorney said Thursday.

The federal trial judge’s March 2022 decision to toss the suit on statute of limitations grounds was wrong, Kenneth D. Myers, a Cleveland attorney representing the 38 plaintiffs, told a three-judge panel for the Cincinnati-based appeals court.
