ASDA fans are rushing to buy an incredible winter essential to light up their homes – and its scanning for just 22p at tills.
Stephanie Gunn posted the budget-friendly find on Facebook that left shoppers in a frenzy.
The delighted woman took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group to share the awesome deal.
“LED candle in Asda scanning in at 22p!” s he wrote in the post.
Stephanie also shared a snap of the candle, from the George Home range at Asda, alongside the scanning device which reads: “£0.22”.
The handy post racked up over 35 reactions and 20 comments from shoppers who were desperate to get their hands on one of the chic white candles.
One Facebook user wrote: “Mateeee xxx”.
Another tagged her friend and said: “Get me a couple if you see these”.
A third added: “Going to have to try these scan things”.
The candle doesn’t appear to be sold on the Asda website, but similar wax LED candles are selling for £10.
The description claims the candle is “made from real wax and flickers like a real flame”.
It’s possible that the item might not be available in all stores – so you might want to call ahead to check and avoid a wasted trip.
Retailers often introduce big discounts on old stock to make way for new items at the start of the season.
But you should always have a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.
Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.
Asda shoppers have also been rushing to their local stores to buy a “fabulous” Le Creuset dupe scanning at tills for just £6 – £219 less than the original.
The boujie brand is famous for selling casserole dishes and other cooking items.
An original Le Creuset can cost anywhere from £195 to £455.
One lucky shopper managed to find a dupe at Asda which was going for just £6.
Posting in Facebook’s Extreme Couponing & Bargains group, they said: “Picked up this casserole dish from Asda reduced to £6, I also got 75p star buy back on my Asda rewards and won £1 on the spin!
“So technically £4.25. Very Le Creuset-esque.”
Shoppers have also been making their final dashes to Wilko to snap up bargain buys that have been slashed by up to 70 per cent.
Prices start from just 25p, and one happy shopper revealed that she picked up Febreeze sprays for just £1.20.
And it’s not the first time shoppers have been eager to share their hugely discounted Wilko bargains.
The Sun previously told how a savvy shopper snapped up fake flowers that’d been slashed to 30p – and they’re perfect for adding a splash of colour into your home.
Alongside an image of the peonies, which had a whopping 40% off, the bargain hunter wrote: “Artificial peony bunches 30p at Wilko.”
Wilko will shut the doors of its last remaining stores on Sunday October 8 as the collapse of the historic retailer comes to a close.
