Apple Has Released iOS 17.1.2, But it Did Not Fix The Ongoing Issue on The iPhone – Wccftech

It was previously reported that Apple plans to release iOS 17.1.2 this week. The company saw fit to release the iOS 17.2 beta four to developers a few days back but missed the rumored update. Today, the company has finally released the iOS 17.1.2 update for all compatible iPhone models. The update was expected to fix one of the most crucial iPhone issues, but it only appears to bring minor changes.

Apple has finally released iOS 17.1.2 for all compatible iPhone users, but you should not be too excited about it

Users have reported that iOS 17.1.1 is causing Wi-Fi connectivity issues on the iPhone. It was speculated that iOS 17.1.2 will fix Wi-Fi connectivity issues on the iPhone. However, Apple’s release notes for iOS 17.1.2 show that the update brings important security fixes. While the new security updates are welcome, it remains to be seen if they have fixed additional bugs.

If you want to check out the latest update, the iOS 17.1.2 release can be downloaded from the Settings app on your iPhone. Head to Settings > General > Software Update and install the latest iOS 17.0.2 update on your iPhone by following the on-screen instructions. The update will be available over the air and installed on all compatible iPhone models starting from the iPhone 11.

iOS 17.1.2 is a minor update as it does not bring front-facing additions to the table. It also did not launch with bug fixes for issues on the iPhone. Apple is working on iOS 17.2, which will be released sometime next month. The update will bring the new Journal app and various notable improvements in the Music app.
