'Apple don't want you to know this savings hack to get 20% discount on Airpods’

Shoppers are being reminded to try out a secret savings hack that could slash the price of popular Apple products.

Content creators on TikTok are giving advice to people looking to cut costs on must-have technological products.

One of the most popular products people purchase from Apple are Airpods which retail for up to $249.99.

However, a unique savings hack could save shoppers 10 to 20 percent off their bills when shopping online.

Households will be on the hunt for the best deals on Apple products ahead of the Christmas holiday season.

Checkmate is a shopping savings tool which often posts tips for consumers on its TikTok channel.

In a video posted to TikTok, the content creator acted out a hypothetical scenario of someone getting ready to purchase Airpods from Apple’s website.

The clip was captioned: “How to save money on your Apple products! #appleproducts #savemoney #savemoneyonelectronics.”

She also played the part of someone giving advice to secure the best deals on Apple products.

The TikTok creator shared: “Okay, these Airpods are so cool. I am definitely going to buy them.

“They [the Airpods] are probably not going to go on sale anytime soon and I want them.”

In response, her advice character said: “Don’t buy them today. Just let them sit in your online cart for a little bit.

“A lot of people don’t know this but on the Apple online store, if you leave items in your cart for about seven to 10 days, you’re more than likely to get a coupon from them for 10 to 20 percent off.”
