Apollo Hospital declines 0.45% as Sensex climbs


Shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. traded at Rs 4260.0 on BSE at 11:37AM (IST) on Thursday, down 0.45 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 3365.9 and a high of Rs 4901.0.

Earlier, shares of the company saw a gap down opening in the morning.

A total of 1,599 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 11:37AM (IST).

The stock of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 61209.85 crore, according to BSE.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 80.04, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 11.55. Return on equity (ROE) was at 18.77 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 229 stocks traded in the green, while 272 stocks were in the red. The stock’s beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.91.

Promoters held 29.33 per cent in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2022 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 47.94 per cent and 10.2 per cent, respectively.
