Amazon opening charity shop selling returned goods at half price

Amazon is opening a shop selling returned goods at 50% off.

The Second Chance Store for the next few weeks will be selling unwanted items like household appliances with all proceeds to the Barnardo’s charity.

Amazon said it was “contributing to a more circular economy”.

The tech giant has donated more than 4,000 products to the shop, at The Brunswick Centre in Bloomsbury, Central London.

Barnardo’s said: “The funds raised will help us continue supporting families and ensuring children have the best possible start in life.”
