ALDI shoppers have found a dupe of a famous drink that was discontinued for just 30p – and they claim it tastes even better.
Production of Lilt by Coca Cola was axed in 2023, but customers have found a perfect substitute.
One such Aldi user said Aldi’s Tropical Blast is just as good on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
Posting the picture of the pack, she wrote: “£1.79 for a pack of six and its just lile Lilt.”
Her post gained over a hundred likes and other shoppers were excited to see the dupe.
One group member wrote: “I love the fruit one it just taste like Fanta.”
A third user even claimed: “I think it is better than Lilt.”
It comes as shoppers are going mad over Aldi’s dupe version of a pricey Dior lip oil for Christmas.
Leigh Bowie, a fashion and beauty fan, took to social media to rave about the £3.99 lip oil dupe from Aldi.
The brunette beauty compared the Aldi buy to the posh version from Dior, as she claimed: “Aldi dupes are basically the real thing, right?”
She then said: “If you’re like me and you love the Dior lip oil, I’ve got a dupe for you.
“Aldi do these luminous lip oils – they’re only £3.99 and they are honestly such a good dupe.”
Leigh got her hands on two of the oils, as she continued: “They’re different colours, I’ve got this kinda dark one here which I thought would be similar to 012 Rosewood by Dior – a bit more pinky.
“It’s good, it’s more lip glossy, I would say, so it’s a bit more sticky.
“But the clear one – I absolutely love.”
