“Safe and simple to use, it comes pre-filled with water and permanently-sealed so you never have to refill with boiling hot water or worry about leaking,” describes the ad.

The hot water bottle charges in 15 minutes and with five hours of charge will last for most of the night or it can help soothe cramps.

“Automatic temperature control provides the optimal amount of heat up to 60-70C, while overheat protection ensures safe use.”

It is also surrounded by a soft layer of material with a pouch for your hands to get snuggly.

Fans thought the hot water bottle was fantastic.

“My mum’s had one for a while and loved it and at 96 it’s also safer for her no boiling water,” said one.

“I have two, one at home and one for work. Love them. Stays cosy for a good 4 to 5 hours,” said another.

“I have a rechargeable hot water bottle and it’s fab, stays hot for hours,” said a third.

One heat saver believes he can make the length of his hot water bottle increase with some aluminium foil – making the bottle more efficient by up to four times.

In his video, he scrunched up a bit of the foil into six small balls and chucked them inside the hot water bottle – this is to be done before filling it up with boiling water, he added.
