Adele talks about Titanic submersible amidst a show in Las Vegas. See what she said

Adele paused her Friday night residency gig in Las Vegas to talk about Oceangate’s Titan submersible with the audience. The tragic tale of the vessel has not just captured the headlines but also touched several hearts recently.

Adele, whose full name is Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, paused the show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Friday to ask the audience if they would want to go into the depths of the ocean to see the ruins of the Titanic.

In a fan-captured video on social media, the English singer-songwriter began the question by saying that the Titan vessel’s deadly implosion was “so sad and so tragic.”

“But I have been debating with my friends on our group chats. Everyone’s like, ‘I would never do that.’ But that’s a lie, cause a lot of people would do that. I want do a vote — not in mind of what happened, cause that was so sad and so tragic — but before this week, how many people would, if they could, would go down to the very, very bottom of the ocean to see the Titanic? Raise your hands,” the 35-year-old singer told the crowd in the middle of the show.

Some attendees looked to say that they would still go on the voyage while many people responded that they would not want to embark on the trip to the Titanic wreckage.

The “Easy on Me” singer also asked the audience if they would like to fly to outer space. Adele said that she wouldn’t want to go on these trips. She said, “I’m a scaredy cat. Of everything, I won’t even go on roller coasters. I just genuinely don’t have an interest in the deep sea or space, so that’s why.”FAQs
