A (Continuing) tale of two inflations



All of these factors make it more difficult for the Reserve Bank of India’s interest rate setting committee to achieve consensus over policy action. The majority view during last month’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting cited stickiness of core inflation and a seasonal dip in vegetable prices to push for a rate hike.
